Townston is the main town of Dungeon Runners. Players come here after they clear Dew Valley. The Obelisk is the main means of accessing many areas of the game. There are also two portals, one leading to Algernon and one to the Horrific Dungeon of Legend.

Town Officials

• Townston Commander - Quest Giver
• Townston Lieutenant - Quest Giver
• Loremaster Vraile - Quest Giver
• Tilles the Sellout - Banker and Relic Quests

Merchants

Merchants sell various things to players, and all of them will buy Loot.

• Audrey the Alchemist - Sells the player Health Potions, Mana Potions and Waypoint Scrolls. Also gives some quests.

• Hughard the Arms Merchant - Sells the player low level armor and weapons, usually yellow.

• Deward the Arms Merchant - Sells the player mid level armor and weapons, usually yellow.

• Louard the Arms Merchant - Sells the player high level armor and weapons, usually yellow.

• Draykop the Amazon - Sells equipment at all levels, usually purple, occasionally rainbow.

Skill Trainers

There are three skill trainers in townston that specialize in teaching skills of various classes. They are located around the obelisk.

• Lothar of the Mound People - Teaches fighter skills. Some of these skills also include Divine resistance and buffs.
• Abel Tukahst - Teaches mage skills that deal magic damage, including Fire, Shadow and Ice attacks, resistance, and buffs.
• Gwen of the Tree Folk - Teaches ranger skills. Some skills include Poison attacks, resistance and buffs.

Token Masters

Token Masters are NPC's that exchange Kings Coins for items. They are located on the path that leads up the hill from the Obelisk to the Bank. There are three different Token Masters, and each exchanges Kings Coins for armor, weapons, rings and amulets tailored for their class. They are:

• Fighter Equip Token Master - exchanges Kings Coins for Fighter equipment.
• Mage Equip Token Master - exchanges Kings Coins for Mage equipment.
• Ranger Equip Token Master - exchanges Kings Coins for Ranger equipment.
• (no longer in the game: Jewelry Token Master - exchanges Kings Coins for rings or amulets.)

Token Master prices range from 3 to about 15 Kings Coins, depending on the item. What you get is random, but suitable for your class and at your level. Almost always it will be a yellow item, but occasionally you will get a purple.

Guards

• Agent Illiot Fess has replaced Baern - Sir Fess of Maerz at the entrance of Algernon.
• Levy - Sir Chergde of Feiss stands by the teleporter Pwnstown and directs players to the PvP server.
• Saundy - Sir Munn of Hillfier and Bremstan - stands guard outside entrance to Horrific Dungeon of Legend.
• In Build 130 Werscheppe - Sir Voss of Graaghtetuud has disappeared.

The Kids

• Rose - Quest giver
• Dorcas - Nuisance but in the right circumstances a Quest giver.

The Beginners Trail now leads to Algernon.
