Weapons are wielded damage-inflicting items of which, there are two main types- Melee Weapons and Ranged Weapons. While there aren't too many types of ranged weapons, there are several sub-types of melee weapons.

The client has eight weapon families (fourteen 1H/2H tracks). Crossbow and Cannon are 2H-only. Sword and Axe are slashing; Mace and Cannon are crushing; Pick and Crossbow are piercing. Last-word lists: Name Descriptors. Name stack: Modifiers.
