Rainbow Level Bands

From Townstons

The shared mythic pile does not dump every name at every level. A mythic will not appear as a quality before 15. After that, later names sit on bands: 15 / 35 / 55 / 75 / 95.

Item level, including T1 / T2 / T3, is on Item Levels.

Lair-chest uniques are not on this page. Those are on Boss Lair Rainbows. Names that only come from the Well are on Well-Only Rainbows. Names that no longer drop are on Discontinued Rainbows. Drop odds are on Rainbow Drops.

Shared fighter armor

People say fighter rainbow armor for two different piles.

Plate, scale, splint, and the older named fighter pieces sit in the ordinary armor tables. A lot of those never got a later band, so they can show from 15. Fighters can wear them. They are not the later class set.

The later dedicated fighter class set is Gosh's Shock, Gosh's Awe, Gosh's Reverence, Gosh's Veneration, Gosh's Wonder, and Gosh's Marvel. That set does not enter the shared drop pool until 35. Before 35 you can still see older fighter-wearable names. You will not see Gosh's Shock.

How the bands work

Once you hit a band, those names stay in the pile. A 90 is still eligible for the 15 and 35 names. A 20 is not eligible for the 35 set.

Unbanded older names

These older named pieces never got put on a later band. They can show from 15, same floor as the first band.

First band (from 15)

Named pieces that sit on the first band. Eligible from 15.

Second band (from 35)

Eligible from 35.

This is also where the dedicated fighter class set comes in.

Third band (from 55)

Eligible from 55.

Fourth band (from 75)

Eligible from 75.

Fifth band (from 95)

Eligible from 95.
