Holiday Rainbows
Holiday names are not on a boss corpse, and they are not the everyday pirate / mouse-ear pile. People mash two different looks together and call the whole mess "holiday." They are not the same bag.
Karl's 1st Limited Edition Item Pack is the item pack. Those names wear the 1st Edition Item Pack Exclusive line. When that look is on, the Wishing Well grows two extra rolls: holiday purple about 1 in 10, holiday rainbow about 1 in 200. When the look is off, those rolls are gone. You will not farm Love/Hate (mostly Hate) in July because you stood at the Well long enough.
The snowman hats are the other pile. They come off Chilly's Chilly Head in the Sanctuary of the Snowmen, and they also sit in the everyday Well extra bag. They are not on the 1-in-200 pack table.
There is no second holiday item pack. Holiday Quests are snowman errands, not a third loot bag. Ordinary Well-only names stay on Well-Only Rainbows. The long Well math is on Wishing Well Guide.

When
There is no posted calendar. Nobody left a start date and an end date that you can bank on. The pack table is on when that look is on, and it is zero when it is not.
Holiday Quests first showed in Chunk 3 Build 106. The Sanctuary is a winter thing.
Karl's 1st Limited Edition Item Pack
That is the pack name. The rainbows below are the 1st Edition table. Nineteen names, even split, when the holiday rainbow roll hits. They are soulbound. Insane and loot percent do not help. The Well does not care what dungeon you just left.
This is the only limited-edition item pack in the game. There is no 2nd Edition look sitting behind it.

Purple cousins
Same pack, not rainbow. Holiday purple is about 1 in 10 when the look is on, then it splits across these names.
Mage Daily look: The Dark Order's Daily Wear, Daily Mittens, Daily Lid, Daily Slippers, Daily Pads, and Necrotic Ward.
Fighter LARP look: The Uber Knight's LARP'ing Suit, Gloves, Helm, Boots, Spaulders, and Shield.
Snowman hats
Winter. Shivery sends you into the Sanctuary. Chilly's Chilly Head lets you keep a hat for your class. People used to call the fighter one Shivery's Scrapper Hat. The name on the item is Chilly Nelson's.
- Chilly Nelson's Scrapper Hat — fighter
- Chilly Nelson's Huntin' Hat — ranger
- Chilly Nelson's Hobo Hat — mage
The same hat names also sit in the everyday Well extra bag, the 1-in-20 pile with pirate gear and Charge!. They are not the Karl pack table. Off-season you can still see them from the Well. During winter you can also get one from the quest and skip the coin toss.
Not a holiday pack
- Valentine's Doily of Death and other Valentine-named gear. Holiday flavor, ordinary named rainbow. Not Karl's pack, not the snowman hats.
- Helper Noobosaur's Unlimited Edition Noob Item Pack. Starter junk. Not a holiday look.
- The snowman quests themselves. Gold, a coin, a hat. Not nineteen 1st Edition names.
Odds
Only while the pack look is on. Per item on a paid toss:
- Holiday purple: about 1 in 10, then one of the Daily / LARP / Necrotic names.
- Holiday rainbow: about 1 in 200, then one of the nineteen rainbows above, even split.
A paid toss is two items, so about 1 in 100 tosses show some holiday rainbow. A specific name is around 1 in 2,000. Off-season those two rolls are zero. Standing at the Well in July does not make the pack table wake up.
The snowman hats use the extra bag (and the quest). Extra-bag math is on Wishing Well Guide. 1 in 20 is still the bag, not the hat.
