The Fades are a race of part undead, part mechanical creations. Their forces are versatile and varied, capable of facing many types of situations, and their technology is superb. Some fades appear to be skeletal in nature, while others have mechanical jaws and robotic limbs or have the appearance of mechanical spiders.

Many technological wonders, such as barriers and generators of unknown purposes are Fade creations, or share a common creator as the Fades.
