These fearsome creatures are like giant mechanical praying mantises. Their forelegs have huge scythe like blades and their reach is enormous. Although they are melee creatures, their slicing attack can reach tremendous distances, that rival some ranged opponents. These creatures have also been known to cast a "haste" like spell, which allows them to run down even some of the fleetest of foot.
