The Shadow's Embrace is recommended for levels 45 to 100. It is the ninth dungeon in the normal sequence, proceeding from The Embercore Path. It is accessible from The Shadow's Gate.

Level 1

Elm Forest Layout. Contains [Gos] Juggern0t!, [GoS] SHAZZAMAN, GoS spawn camper! and Poison Mutant Puker, Mutant Unipsycho.

Guild of Shadows Training Chamber of Doom is located off Level 1.

(Demonic Crypts, formerly located here, seems to have vanished in Build 121.)

Guild of Shadows Training Chamber of Doom

Lava Crypt Layout. Contains [GoS] Angels, [GoS] Knights, GoS Reavers, [1/2] Slackers, [1/2] Blades,[1/2] Reaver. They cast curses on Attack and Defense ratings.

Level 2

On this level is located the teleporter for the Quest King's Hit List Part 3.

Level 3

Elm Forest Layout. Contains [Gos] Juggern0t!, [GoS] SHAZZAMAN, [GoS] spawn camper!, [GoS] W4rri0r and Poison Mutant Puker, Mutant Unipsycho, Mutant Hulks.

It appears that the Obsidian Library, formerly on this level, has disappeared in Build 121.

Halfassin's Halfway House

Library Layout. Contains [GoS] Angels, [GoS] Knights, GoS Reavers, [1/2] Slackers, [1/2] Blades,[1/2] Reaver. They cast curses on Attack and Defense ratings.

Level 4

Elm Forest Layout. Contains [Gos] Juggern0t!, [GoS] SHAZZAMAN, [GoS] spawn camper!, [GoS] W4rri0r and Poison Mutant Puker, Mutant Unipsycho, Mutant Hulks. One major difference between the normal Elm Forest Layout and this one is the presence of various pits. Enemies may be hiding in them. They are accessible via ramps.

It appears that Shadow Crypts, formerly located on this level, have disappeared in Build 122.

Guild of Shadows Center for Stealthiness and Backstabbery

Lava Crypt Layout. Contains [GoS] Angels, [GoS] Knights, GoS Reavers, [1/2] Slackers, [1/2] Blades,[1/2] Reaver, [GG] Harpys, [GG] Raver. [GG] Shade. They cast curses on Attack and Defense ratings.

In order to keep the game interesting, certain information about the GoS CfSaB has been omitted here. Die in it and be surprised!

Level 5

Shadow Temple Layout. Contains [GoS]dark_angels!, [GoS] Knights, [GoS]dark_reavers!, and Divine Angels,Divine Reavers and Divine Knights.

Haxhaxor Libratorium is located off Level 5.

There is a portal to Balzack's Base Camp on Level 5.

Shadow Library, formerly located on Level 5, seems to have disappeared in Build 123.

Haxhaxor Libratorium

Library Layout. Contains [GG] Construct, [GG] Launcher, [GG] Whomper, [HAX] Warrior, [HAX] Shaman, [HAX] Spawn. This hypothetically might be whispered to be a place to go to die (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) if it weren't so secret.

Level 6

Shadow Temple Layout. Contains [GoS dark angel!s, [GoS] Kn1ghts!, [GoS] dark reaver!s, [GoS] dark oracle and Divine Angels, Divine Knights, Divine Soothsayer and Divine Reavers.

Someplace on this level is a Guild of Shadows Teleporter for the Quest King's Hit List Part 7.

Level 7

Shadow Temple Layout. Contains [GoS dark angel!s, [GoS] Kn1ghts!, [GoS] dark reaver!s, [GoS] dark oracle and Divine Angels, Divine Knights, Divine Soothsayer and Divine Reavers.

Fade Library and Burning Fade Crypts from builds before 120 are no longer here.

If we were talking about places to die (which we aren't) and if you were to ask about reaching the Underlife (which you haven't) someone (but not me) might mention this place, if it weren't so secret ...

Good Griefers Climate-Controlled Gymnasium

Ice Cave Layout. [GG] Construct, [GG] Launcher, [GG] Whomper, [HAX] Warrior, [HAX] Shaman, [HAX] Spawn. In the big chambers, a mob will sometimes appear when you cross the middle of the chamber.

It seems that it is a strange place for a machine to be dispensing Insta-Gank. Who can stand the smell of that stuff? Wonder what would happen if some Dungeon Runner were actually brave enough to drink it?

Shadow's Pinnacle

Special Shadow Temple Layout. To each side of the portal are two chambers, each containing a Shadow Pinnacle Guardian Sarcophagus. Opening the Sarchophagus releases a Guardian Executioner and Divine Angels, Dark Angels, Shadowspawn Knights and Divine Felknights supporters. Both Executioners must be killed to open the gate. After the gate opens at the top of the stairs are more Angels and Knights, and what looks like a large stone statue. This statue is actually the Queen of Shadows, but it appears that she will not move until actually attacked. Instead she continually spawns supports, including Royal Phantasms as well as Angels and Knights. Once she is attacked she will rush on the Dungeon Runners, and has a massive knockback attack.
