Balzack's Burrow is recommended for characters from Level 55 to 100. It is the tenth dungeon in the normal sequence, following The Shadow's Embrace. It is accessible through Balzack's Burrow Base Camp. It can be a very difficult dungeon due to the mixture of elementals found on the various levels.

DUNGEON DETAILS

Level 1

Ruins Layout. Contains Frosty Melee Wasp, Frosty Ranged Cannonier, Divine Runt, Divine Taskmaster.

This is an easy dungeon to run solo for a mage with ranged and AoE attacks, but can be frustrating for a solo fightrer, because it contains large groups of fairly weak mobs.

There is a side dungeon called Frigid Bean.

Frigid Bean

Ice Cave Layout. This is a very cold place and may cause Shrinkage. Contains Toxic Haunt, Poisonous Felknight, Frigid Fade Soldier, Frosty Devastator!.

Level 2

Ruins Layout. Contains Frosty Melee Wasp, Frosty Ranged Cannonier, Divine Runt, Divine Taskmaster.

Level 3

Ruins Layout. Contains Frosty Melee Wasp, Frosty Ranged Cannonier, Frostbitten Conscript, Divine Runt, Divine Taskmaster, Divine Hunter,Orok Clan Divine Chieftain.

A side dungeon called Cryptacular.

Cryptacular

Crypt Layout (Surprise!). Contains Poisonous Felknight, Toxic Haunt, Frosty Devastator!, Frigid Fade Soldier. Baby the Line Dancer can be found right at the entrance.

Level 4

Ruins Layout. Contains Frosty Melee Wasp, Frosty Ranged Cannonier, Frostbitten Conscript, Divine Runt, Divine Taskmaster, Divine Hunter, Frosty Melee Spitter, Orok Clan Divine Chieftain.

A side dungeon called The Frozen Bean.

The Frozen Bean

Ice Cave Layout. This is a very cold place and may cause Shrinkage. Contains Toxic Haunt, Poisonous Felknight, Frigid Fade Soldier, Frosty Devastator!.

Level 5

Catacombs Layout. Contains Toxic Raythe, Fetid Angel, Frigid Fade Soldier, Frosty Devastator!, Frigid Dread Mantis.

A side dungeon called Nether Crypts.

Nether Crypts

Crypt Layout (surprise!). Contains Shadow Orok Taskmaster, Shadow Orok Cave Hunter, Mutant Melee Spitter, Shadow Orok Cave Chieftain, Poison Mutant Ranged Wasp, and Poison Deviant Hurler

Tip: Like all side-dungeons of Balzack's Burrow, this dungeon is ideal for farming, because of the huge groups of mobs. See comments in the Farming article.

Level 6

Catacombs Layout. Contains Arctic Fade Lichlord, Frigid Fade Soldier, Frosty Devastator!, Toxic Oracle, Toxic Mangler, Toxic Raythe, Fetid Angel.

Level 7

Catacombs Layout. Contains Arctic Fade Lichlord, Frigid Fade Soldier, Frosty Devastator!, Toxic Oracle, Toxic Mangler, Toxic Raythe.

Two side dungeons called Crypts R Us and The Cold Cave.

Crypts R Us

Crypt Layout. Contains Shadow Orok Taskmaster, Shadow Orok Cave Hunter, Cave Shaman, Poison Mutant Ranged Wasp, and Poison Deviant Hurler.

The Cold Cave

Ice Cave Layout. This is a very cold place and may cause Shrinkage. Contains Mutant Ranged Wasp, Deviant Hurler, Orok Cave Hunter, Orok Taskmaster, Toxic Mangler, Noxious Conscript.

Balzack's Flame

There is a barrier blocking the way to Balzack. There are four side rooms, each containing a Sepulcher which releases a horde of Champions and Heroes of many different types. It also opens a portal which releases more monsters until it is destroyed. All four groups must be defeated to release the barrier. Balzack appears as a giant Poison Winged Demon Snake, surrounded by many more Poisonous Champions and Heroes, and opens a Poison Portal which releases more continually.
