These bat-like mutants have metal spikes, horns and armor grafted to their bodies. More importantly, they have a projectile launcher of some sort attached where their tail should be allowing them to attack with elemental bolts from a distance.

Tip: Because they come in large groups and fly around rapidly they can be some of the most difficult monsters. Shadow Lightning is one of the most effective ways of dealing with them.
