Wolves have a nasty bite attack that can leave you bleeding and suffering damage for several seconds after the bite.

Tip: Wolves tend to rush in and surround you, so an AoE spell is usually very effective against them.

Basic Types

• Dew Valley Wolf. You will first encounter these in Dew Valley Forest.
• Warg. You find these in Algernon.
• Snow Warg. You encounter them in the upper parts of Algor's Terror Dome and in Subterrorania, Arborgeddon and Haterium. They come together in groups with Ice Oroks.
• Pups. All the various types have pups which are just smaller versions.

Specials

The Embercore Hound is a huge fire wolf who is usually found accompanying Fire Whiskers in the Horrific Dungeon of Legend.

Uniques

At the end of Dew Valley, the Dew Valley Rattle Tooth is accompanied by a wolf named Rat's Best Friend.
