Exploring Upper MutantMania

In-game text

Journal text, offer, and turn-in as they appeared in game.

Journal: Explore the many branches connected to Upper MutantMania. Afterward, return to Loremaster Vraile in Townston.

Offer:

MutantMania? Yes, yes...I...I know of it.

Pardon my stammering, Dungeon Runner. I...I am embarrassed to admit the violent brawls contained within the MutantMania are a guilty pleasure of mine. Embarrassed because I am a seeker of knowledge, a learned man! And yet...have you seen Babyface Buster perform his Suicide Swaddle attack? Pure poetry in motion! We must not simply read and listen, my child. Skilled observation may also grant knowledge.

Go into the MutantMania. Watch the combatants. *Comprehend* what they do. Once you have gained a modicum of understanding for what it takes to be a professional in the MutantMania circuit, return to me.

Turn-in:

Ah, so you have returned from MutantMania's upper branches. What have you learned? You have learned, perhaps, that there is much that you have yet to learn?

Objectives:

• Explore Bernie's Backyard Brawl
• Explore the All-Amateur Assault
• Explore the Upper Umbrage Unleashed

Level range: 80–100
