Digging Deep

In-game text

Journal text, offer, and turn-in as they appeared in game.

Journal: Obtain a Mining Pick from a Whisker Prospector. With the Mining Pick in your inventory, gather Fizz Rock samples from the Fizz Rock Veins throughout Algernon. Bring the samples back to Audrey in Townston.

Offer:

Oh am I glad to see you, Dungeon Runner! Sir Prize, over in Dew Valley--you may have met him, asked me to analyze some samples of Fizz Rock that he had collected. Well, they weren't quite Fizz Rock...whatever idiot he asked to collect the stuff ended up picking up Whisker...leavings. Those *highly* unusual properties Sir Prize mentioned? Yea, Whisker poo. So now I am up to my eyes in Whisker presents and none of it is useful. Although, maybe I could make a new potion out of it. Hmmmmmm....

Oh, you're still here. Well then you can do me a favor then! We still need some samples of the Mined Fizz Rocks from Algernon. The samples can be mined from Fizz Rock Veins scattered all throughout Algernon. First though you will need a Mining Pick.

Find a Whisker Prospector in Algernon, steal his Mining Pick, then collect some Mined Fizz Rock samples from the Fizz Rock Veins. Once you have enough samples, bring them back to me, Audrey the Fantabulous...err the Alchemist, here in Townston.

Turn-in:

Now you are certain that this is Fizz Rock right? You didn't just get this off a random Whisker right? It sure smells like the previous samples, but it looks different. I'll take your word for now. You also might want to keep hold of that Mining Pick--you could find other uses for it later.

Oh! I have a brand new potion. Would you like a sample?

Objectives:

• Mining Pick ×1
• Collected Fizz Rock Samples ×10

Level range: 7–20
