Burning the Midnight Fizz Rock

In-game text

Journal text, offer, and turn-in as they appeared in game.

Journal: Gain access to a Secret Squeakeasy scattered throughout Algernon. Bring a sample of Mined Fizz Rock and put it in the S.T.I.L.L. device. Bring the refined Fizz Rock product back to Audrey in Townston.

Offer:

Well, my tests were mostly inconclusive and largely concussive--I don't know if poor Dorcus will ever be quite the same. He was a wee bit too close during one of the test runs. Poor little guy.

I need to see more about how the Fizz Rock is being used. It seems the Squeakeasys are able to make FizzStar on the fly now, using something called Sissirat's Transportable Infuser and Liquid Loader, or S.T.I.L.L.. The Mutants are still doing most of the mass-production in Not the Rumored Refinery, but this new mobile S.T.I.L.L. has us worried.

I need you to get another Mined Fizz Rock sample and bring it to a S.T.I.L.L. in one of the Squeakeasys throughout Algernon. You will need to have a Mining Pick to get the Fizz Rock (I told you to hold on to it!). Prospectors carry them if you need another.

Turn-in:

Ah so this is FizzStar Fizzing Fizz Drink! Well, I should see if it's harmful. You know for safety reasons.

Oh Gosh, that is tasty! It's refreshing too! I feel like I could take on the world for ten minutes! Good work Dungeon Runner! This looks like the new Energy Drink that Sissirat and Rattle Tooth have been making. Apparently it's so good that some of the Townston guards have been sneaking down to the Squeakeasys for a quick rush.

You look buffer by the way. I bet if you processed more Fizz Rock you would get buffed again. All you need is a Mining Pick to get the Fizz Rock and then find a Squeakeasy.

Is it your birthday today? Because I have this gift for you!
