Difficulty

Dungeon Runners comes with access to simple tools for changing how hard the game is to play. Simply open up your GUI menu by pressing the ESCAPE key, select OPTIONS, select GENERAL and look for the proper option to change.

There are four options: normal, formidable, extreme and insane.

• Normal is the baseline, actual numbers are not known only to the devs.

• Formidable increases monster health by 50%, monster damage by 20% and drops by 50%.

• Extreme increases monster health by 100%, monster damage by 40% and drops by 100%.

• Insane increases monster health by 150%, monster damage by 80% and drops by 150%.

If you just want to change a difficulty setting for the current session, you can do so by using the commandline. Simply type in /difficulty followed by how hard you want the game to be. For example, if you're using Normal and you want Insane, type in /difficulty insane into the world chat window.

When running in a group, the numbers increase depending on the number of members in the team. The amount of loot dropped is solely the base amount for that difficulty times the number of group members. There is no "bonus" to loot for running in a group. Remember that the loot dropped is randomly divided among all the group members. Here are the stats. Note that the popups in the game give figures as a + percentage, such as +1150%. This is added to the base 100%. So Loot for a group of 5 at insane is 100% + 1150% = 1250%. The total figures are given in this table as it makes comparison easier:
