Tip: object collection quests

Have you noticed that when you have a collection quest, say for 15 bottles of fizz, that once you collect all the bottles for the quest that the monsters no longer drop it? Sometimes you get more because several dropped in the last fight before you picked them up and completed the collection.

Well, a lot of these item quests are repeatable, and going back to the NPC to hand them in can be a real pain (and may involve reclearing a level to get to them). You waste both time - and you miss getting drops from the monsters you are killing.

So, here's the tip. Items only count while they are in your inventory!

Huh? well here are the two options:

1) waypoint back to town and put them in your bank if you are a member - the bank doesn't count as inventory. This does slow you a bit, but can be convienient if the Quest NPC is in town also.

2) Drop the items - they will remain on the floor (and additionally belong only to you - others can't pick them up. Keep killing monsters, dropping, and then pick up all your drops when you've cleared the level or are ready to move on. You may want to drop in a place you'll remember. Take care to pick them up before you reset an instance!

Now you can get drops from every monster - and you can turn in several repeat quests at the same time.
