Journal: Head down into Lower Balzack's Burrow and find out why the monsters are actually drinking Javier's coffee. Report back to TDA Agent Anise Rawgers in Balzack's Burrow Base Camp when you find the reason.

Offer:

Oh, Dungeon Runner, I am glad I caught you. I need to warn you, whatever you do, do not drink any of Javier's coffee. He has been complaining that his coffee is not selling and he can't figure out why not. I'll tell you why: It's awful! It is the single worst drink I have ever tried--and I did taste tests for Audrey! Javier is so proud his coffee is the only coffee approved by the TDA. It's true, but only because it's the *only* coffee out there!

Anyway, that is not the problem here. It looks like some of the monsters are actually *drinking* Javier's coffee instead of simply using it as an industrial-strength cleaner. The only explanation the TDA has is the monsters are adding some kind of sweetener to the coffee to make it bearable. This has to be one super-powered sweetener to cover the taste...and the smell...and appearance...and...well, you get the idea. Regardless, the TDA is concerned this sweetener could lead to an explosion in new, unapproved drinks hitting the market.

I need you to head into the Lower areas of Balzack's Burrow and see if you can find a sample of Javier's coffee that the monsters are drinking.

Turn-in:

Oh wow, this actually smells delicious! What could they be using?! It has to be magic. This coffee used to smell like burnt Mutant on a hot day, but now it smells irresistable. Here, take this reward and lemme see if the situation tastes as serious as it smells.
