Shadows Over Dungeon Idol

In-game text

Journal text, offer, and turn-in as they appeared in game.

Journal: Find and Kill 16 Shadow Fade Generals located in the upper branches of Frump's Misfortune and then return to Chuck McBarris in Frump's Interdungeonal Resort when finished.

Offer:

The Shadow Fade Generals sit on the board of directors for Dungeon Idol, but recently they lost their majority vote advantage due to the slipping ratings and shareholder outcry.

Crotchety old Generals 'Screaming get off my dungeon!' and 'Leave it to the old to know what is best!'. Maybe they are referred to as Generals because they lack unique vision.

It's time for some forced early retirement. Head back out to any of our locations 'Deathtroit, Cleaveland, or H.E.L.L.A.' and convince the Shadow Fade Generals to retire early. I don't think words will work since they are pretty obstinate. Feel free to use clubs, kittens, fists, spells, boots, chains, pizza cutters, or any other medieval device that will send them out on their backs.

Who loves you? That's right! Chuck loves you. Come talk to Uncle Chuck McBarris in Frump's Interdungeonal Resort when you have sorted out those senile Shadow Fade Generals.

Turn-in:

Who knew that destroying the careers of Shadow Fade Generals and public inquires into the forced early retirement would be so good for ratings. We love to see the rating numbers go up as the General numbers go down. Let me know if you want to help out some more and make some 'shinys' in the process. The Generals' meddling has left quite a mess and we have some extra cleanup duties on aisle 5 for you to help with when you are ready.

Objectives:

• Obstinate Generals retired

Level range: 25–45
