Seeking Secrets, Part 4

In-game text

Journal text, offer, and turn-in as they appeared in game.

Journal: Die in the Good Griefers Climate-Controlled Gymnasium off Level 7 in the Shadow's Embrace, journey through the underlife, and steal the secret plans from the R&D lab. Afterward, meet with Sir Ving N'Seacressy in the Shadow's Gate.

Offer:

According to rumor (and a few secret documents), the Guild of Shadows includes a sub-group called Haxhaxors. They're the idea men and gadget-makers of the GoS, and are why Dungeon Runners keep ending up in the underlife when they die. The Haxhaxors have come up with a way to interrupt the automatic resurrection signal on a per-person basis. They call it underjacking.

We need answers on the extent of their operation. How many people have they underjacked? Where have they done it? And, most importantly, how do we stop them?

*Someone* needs to die in the Good Griefers Climate-Controlled Gymnasium off Level 7 in the Shadow's Embrace, escape through underlife, and steal the secret plans from that level's Resurrection & Development lab. I'm not saying it has to be you...I'm just saying it can't be me.

Turn-in:

Sometimes, life can be stressful. Life as a baker. I mean barrel maker. What did I tell you I do for a living? I'm a barber. Anyway, I'll take those papers and get them where they need to be.

Objectives:

• Secret Codename: Hieronimous J. Muddypaws ×1

Level range: 48–100
