Monsters Mashing

In-game text

Journal text, offer, and turn-in as they appeared in game.

Journal: Go into the lower areas and branches off of the upper areas of Mutanous Malaise and kill 100 Poison Grunt Moshers and 50 Poison Mystic Moshers. Return to Tipper Gourd in The Mutanous Malaise Mezzanine when you have completed the quest.

Offer:

I'm just so angry I could go cross-eyed! Those vile, vile monsters don't know when to quit. Get over here and start with that sweet shoulder magic you weave on my frayed nerves.

Now listen, the Citizen Action Committee just got word that the monsters are planning a memorial for Bobby Pickaxe. They are going to have a monster mosh rally and are going to invite everybody to engage in something called a Pit. Can you just imagine all those hundreds of smelly, musky, virile torsos slamming into each other's damp, sweaty bodies in such a confined area? Well let me tell you, I did. For about an hour last night, as I bathed, but never mind that.

I want you...that is, I need you...to go to the upper areas of The Mutanous Malaise and put an end to this madness once and for all. Wipe out as many of these moshers as it takes to bring back good old-fashioned decency to the dungeons. You will need to use a liberal amount of elbow grease for this task. Kill, oh let's say, 100 of those Poison Grunt Moshers and 50 Poison Mystic Moshers for good measure. Return to me, Tipper Gourd in the The Mutanous Malaise Mezzanine, when you have stopped this misguided obscenity.

Turn-in:

I feel so wholesome and free now that you have made the ruffian moshers go away. Hold me with those loving and caring arms.

I will call for you again when I feel my white linen world of potpourri is under attack by morally sadistic hedonists frantically dancing and rubbing up against one another.

Objectives:

• Poison Grunt Moshers
• Poison Mystic Moshers

Level range: 37–55
