Idolatry of Impaler Nix

In-game text

Journal text, offer, and turn-in as they appeared in game.

Journal: Head into Cleaveland which is found off of the third level of Frump's Misfortune. Find and kill Impaler Nix and then return to Chuck McBarris in Frump's Interdungeonal Resort.

Offer:

Every year is a new competition and a new Idol winner. Once the year is passed, the old winner steps down, signs some new deal to haunt or prey in some other dungeon area. At least that's how the deal is supposed to work. Then there are some who can never let go of the past and refuse to live in the present. This is the case with Impaler Nix.

Impaler Nix was last year's winner. When Impaler first entered the Dungeon Idol scene, we all thought he was too beat-up to even last to the final three. I myself told Impaler he would never make it to the final round. I later had to eat crow and recant those words. Great, good for them I thought. The problem now is that they are gathering a large following that refer to themselves as the 'Soul Patrol'.

Impaler Nix and the 'Soul Patrol' are creating too much competition inside of the Cleaveland area. All the new up and comers need their chance at the title and well, some people just need a little help out of the nest sometimes. Find Impaler Nix in Cleaveland and give him a good nudging to let him know we mean for them to exit stage left. Once he's off the set, do Chuck a favor and come back to Frump's Interdungeonal Resort and let him know Impaler's been taken care of.

Turn-in:

I'm glad you were able to coax them into leaving. Some just need encouragement and then some just need a swift kick to get them moving in the right direction. Then there are some that cannot be helped, but are insistent they have 'what it takes.' I'm referring to another job I have for you in H.E.L.L.A. if you think your path may lead you there. If so, come and talk to me when you are ready for something new.
