Ice Mage Overview
Ice Mages, are one of Dungeon Runners newest upcoming classes. Starting with build 155, Ice Mages will be receiving a new skill called Cold Snap which is a very effective large scale AoE. Ice Mages can be forces to be reckoned with if used correctly and with the right setup can AoE massive groups of mobs
Why Play Ice Mage
So you may be wondering why should I play Ice Mage, what does Ice Mage have over lets say pyro mages and shadow mages? Yes all three can AoE with great effectiveness, but each has a different playing style. Ice Mages are intended to slow your opponents while dealing good amounts of damage. So if this seems like your type of build or your just looking to try something new, keep reading.
Advantages
One advantage that Ice Mages have over any of the other mages is that fact that with Ice Bolt and Cold Snap both offer chances to slow your opponents down, which in many cases can be usefull not only in PvE but also in PvP. Also with the addition of Cold Snap it brings Ice Mages AoE capablities to a new level, making them far more effective than they previously where.
Disadvantages
Now with Cold Snap coming out Ice Mage gear is highly in demand so it may take some time getting that nice set of Ice Mage gear. Another minor setback to Ice Mages is the passive upgrade to Cold Snap, named Ohh Snap offers a 75% chance to launch the second set of shards, though 75% is a high percentage it is still not a 100% and you might see that sometimes you'll see multiple cold snaps not launching the second shards.

Equipment
Like any class equipment plays a major role in its effectiveness and survivablitly. Now in Dungeon Runners theres no cookie cutter armor or equipment for any class, but im going to recomend some highly effective gear for running as an Ice Mage. Feel free to tinker around with other Ice Mage rb's and setups and find a build that suits your playing style.
Recomended Gear:
Weapons: Now there currently are no RB Ice wands or staff, which is a major let down. But fear not, you can still have an uber mage without RB weapons. Now what I would recomend is looking for a purple staff with Full Int or Int/End bonuses and 8% Ice with Full Ice DPS, or you can look for two 1 hand wands with Full Int and Ice % and Full Ice DPS.
Jewelry: Now jewelry there are some RB alternatives you can pick up.
Cheap Jewelry: Pick up some purple rings and amys with Full Int and Full Ice DPS and Ice %. Example: 107Int 42 Ice DPS 4%Ice Dmg.
Expensive Jewelry: Now if you have quite a bit of DR wealth you might want to look for some RB Ice Rings with Full Melee Reflection. Example 112Int 55% Melee Reflection 4% Ice and some res or sometimes you can find them with growth %. Keep in mind these rings are very very rare and uncommon and to obtain such rings you'll be paying quite abit for them. As RB Amy's concerned, there are a mere handfull of RB Ice Amys floating around and to obtain one of these would be ridiculously expensive and not to mention very very hard to come by.
