Journal text, offer, and turn-in as they appeared in game.

Journal: Kill Shadow Mutants in the lower areas of The Mutanous Malaise. While doing so, collect 30 The Beastlies albums and 30 Dead Xeplin albums. Bring all 60 albums to Tipper Gourd in The Mutanous Malaise Mezzanine.

Offer:

There are groups out there actively scheming to subvert the liberties of our community. This is all happening without our conscious knowledge. It's a new psychological warfare technique referred to as 'backward masking.' The targets in this war are our children and we, the parents, must win this war at all costs.

This is so very disturbing. The idea that one could simply hear something melodic and be commanded to vicious acts against one's will is unquestionably horrific. These messages often promote senseless violence against innocents and promote other deviant behaviors. This is why I must use your help.

Trust me when I tell you that these creatures will be much better off and less prone to violence without these recordings. Not to mention how much better we all will feel once we have done our part to stop the senseless violence. Please head into the lower depths of The Mutanous Malaise and club any Shadow Mutant that moves. Keep clubbing them until they stop moving or they hand over their collection of recordings performed by The Beastlies and Dead Xeplin. I, Tipper Gourd, will be waiting The Mutanous Mallaise Mezzanine to collect the records.

Turn-in:

In order to be certain that we have removed this pollution from our planes of existence, I will create a huge pyre. Once lit, I will dance around it in ecstatic joy and celebration. Sorry for the distraction, back to business.

I have spent the last few days listening to recordings backwards and have made some more discoveries. I could use your quick wit and charm to convince others to relinquish their recordings.

Objectives:

• The Gray Album ×30
• Runes LP ×30

Level range: 40–50
