You're probably mostly aware of what's been going on but let me update you. In brief we have a rat problem: a really big, talking, stabby kind of rat problem. The Rattle clan high-tailed it out of Dew Valley when the Fizz Rock mines there dried up and came here to Algernon. They are mining Fizz Rock here for Sissirat. It looks like Sissi-boy...err rat is using the stuff as an energy source mostly. But recently they started refining it into an energy drink they are calling FizzStar Fizzing FizzDrink. You've probably seen the ads around: FizzStar's got what Rats crave! and It has electronutritionalarbohydrates! I don't even know what those last things are, but they sound awesome! Err, I mean we need to stop them!
I need you to demoralize the Whiskers down here. They're big, big fans of Rattle Tooth's musical stylings. They all want to be in his posse and live the glamorous high life of a Squeak-Squawk musician: Whiskers up, Oroks down and all that. We need to strike a blow to their morale, which should hinder their desire to mine more Fizz Rock. They've all been practicing their Squeak-Squawk music for the upcoming Posse Auditions. Why don't you steal some of their mics. That should demoralize them pretty well, don't you think?
When you are able to gather 10 Whisker Mics, bring them up to Agent Illiot Fess in Townston to update him on the situation. There is a small reward for every Mic collected as an added incentive.

Thank you for this shipment of Mics, Dungeon Runner. I'm not sure how Agent Prohi keeps finding so many, but I won't look a gift Orok in the mouth. These are really going to help with the Board's plans for Townston Karaoke. Anything that will help pay the bills!
