Death Penalty

When exploring HDoL, you will incur a death penalty when you die. Upon resurrection, your character receives a temporary debuff power that lasts for 3 minutes. The debuff will decrease (worsen) your defense rating and damage rating by 75%, making it harder to respawn and resume the slaughter quickly.

If you're solo, you should just wait the timer out before you return to HDoL.
