The Room of Creation seems to practically have been designed for a Pyromancer! If you are going after Rotgut the Bloated there is a pretty simple strategy for a Toaster.

Skills

Fire Bolt is a standby mage skill and works very well against Rotgut and his supporters. They seem to have very little Fire Resist but lots of Shadow Resist, so stay away from Shadow Lightning.

Ring of Fire This is the Pyromancer's Area Attack spell and will help a lot with the support troops.

Crispy Critters This skill has been added since this guide was written, but should fit very well into the pattern. Getting a bit closer to Rotgut can be dangerous, but toasting him in continuous flames is a great idea!

Pyromania kicks up your Fire damage and is a big help.

Monster Bait Helps keep the mobs off you while you're flaming all over them.

Strategy / Usage

The entrance to the Room of Creation is guarded by groups of Rotgut's Roadies, melee fighters, and Rotgut's Groupies, ranged fighters. Toss a Monster Bait at them, which should keep them off you for a bit.. then blast off with Fire Bolt at the nearest ones and you can probably dispatch several before they even get to you. Then deal with the the ones who are left by firing a couple of Fire Bolts, hitting Ring of Fire, and repeating as soon as it cools down. Spam pots as needed. When the Roadies are done with, stand still and blast the Groupies with Fire Bolt. If you try to get close to them they will run and be much more difficult to hit.

Now stop and regenerate before going down the long hallway. You want manna and hit points to be topped up and Pyromania cooled down before you continue. Go down the hall and as soon as you sight the mobs, stop; lure them part way down the hall and give them some Monster Bait. You'll be able to deal with the mobs as before, Rotgut won't even come down the hall if you do it this way.

Once the mobs are taken care of, try to maneuver to have line of sight to Rotgut. Drop a monster bait to keep him busy, turn on Pyromania, and blast him with Fire Bolt. Rotgut does not have much fire resist and a constant barrage will eventually get him. You may take him down before he's even done with your bait.

Start gathering Loot. When you are a Member, its suggested to pick up the purples and a possible rainbow, then start filling your inventory with yellows. Pick up the high stacks of gold, and a possible Kings Coin. Then move to chests, and reset.

Then go on the world channel and brag!

Advantages

You are able to solo farm The Room of Creation very easily.

If you are with a group you can use the fighters as meat shields and stand back and Fire Bolt. This works even better!

Disadvantages

Actually, none. Before Monster Bait you would spam a lot of potions, but who needs them now? A lvl 40 Pyromancer shouldn't use more than 5 or 10 major healing potions if you follow this strategy.
