Every item has an item level. Monsters drop items from 5 levels below the player to 2 levels above. A level 100 character can receive items from level 95 to 102.

The Wishing Well does not use this range. Well items are the player's current level and stop at 100. Merchants also stop at 100.

T1, T2, T3

Players call the three highest item levels T1, T2, and T3:

Slang	Item level
T1	100
T2	101
T3	102

The same item at a higher level has higher attribute bonuses. A two-hand weapon or body with one primary is +221 at T1, +223 at T2, and +225 at T3. Two primaries on that slot are +110 / +110, +111 / +111, and +112 / +112.

How bonuses split

One primary attribute takes the full bonus. Two primaries each take half. Three each take one third. Four each take one quarter. Some name words are not an even split. Crystal Ant is 80% Endurance and 20% Strength, so a T1 body reads +177 / +44 instead of +110 / +110.

The same split rule applies to other bonuses. Two resistances share one resist roll. A Defense Rating + Attack Rating pair shares that budget. The last word on green and better gear chooses the primaries. That list is on Name Descriptors.

Fractions are rounded down.

Strength, Agility, Endurance, Intellect

Two-hand weapons and body armor use the same primary total. Rings, amulets, helms, shoulders, shields, and one-hand weapons use half of that. Gloves and boots use a quarter.

Slot	Split	T1	T2	T3
Two-hand weapon, Body	one	+221	+223	+225
	two each	+110	+111	+112
	three each	+72	+73	+74
	four each	+55	+55	+56
One-hand weapon, Shield, Helm, Shoulders, Amulet, Ring	one	+110	+111	+112
	two each	+55	+55	+56
	three each	+36	+36	+37
	four each	+27	+27	+28
Gloves, Boots	one	+55	+55	+56
	two each	+27	+27	+28
	three each	+18	+18	+18
	four each	+13	+13	+14

Other bonuses

Resistances, Attack Rating, Defense Rating, damage, health, and mana also climb from T1 to T3. Percent speed, steal, stun, block, and percent damage usually do not.

A full roll on one bonus is the top of that line. The tooltip is lower when the item split the budget. Examples from T1–T3 gear:

One Shadow Resistance on a T3 body: +435. Two resistances on a T1 body: +213 / +213.
T3 ring, one Intellect: +112 and +812 Mana. T3 ring, two primaries: +56 / +56 and +13% Character Size.
T2 two-hander, one Strength: +223. Fire damage on that weapon: +177. Melee Attack Rating: +1062.
Body +2% Attack Speed, +9% Stun Resist, and +3% Health Steal do not change from T1 to T3. Ring +4% damage, +4% Stun Resist, and +5% Defense Rating do not change either.

Size does nothing in a fight. The old stacked maximum is on Growth Items.
