The main gameplay aspect of Dungeon Runners is to run through dungeons (strange as it may sound). There are a total of thirteen dungeons in the Dungeon Runners. The first dungeon is a "beginner's area" called Dew Valley and it is where all new characters spawn for the first time. The first dungeon is Dew Valley Forest, followed by eleven normal dungeons following a standard format of seven levels, various "off" areas, and then a Boss Lair. The thirteenth is a group dungeon which is much larger and features stronger enemies than the normal dungeons.

The eleven standard dungeons have recommended level ranges which increase as you progress through the game. Players can earn experience in a Dungeon up to its maximum level + 5. Dungeon bosses will drop loot up to its maximum level + 5.

Dungeon maps are "spawned", or created, individually for each player or group each time they enter. You can leave a dungeon and go to Town, and return to the same map. If you leave a dungeon, sign off, and return, you will find an entirely new map. However, the basic plan of each dungeon and the "off" dungeons remain the same. The dungeon pages below contain Schematic Maps for each dungeon, and also lists of monsters encountered on each level.

There is also a Combined Dungeons Map in a B&W single page printable version. It is not very pretty but we hope it will be useful. A Printable Side Board List is also available.

Outposts

Almost all of the dungeons have Outposts, or staging areas, through which they can be reached. Each outpost has an obelisk, and after you have visited it and used the obelisk you will thereafter be able to reach the staging area again through any obelisk.

Check this link for details and maps of the Outposts.

Layouts

There are several different layouts that a dungeon level can take. As you progress through the game you will encounter most of them again and again. Any particular dungeon can change layout from level to level. Here are examples of the "skins" you may find.
